Clarets to launch a singing section

Talks were ongoing with the club alongside a group of fans formed from the Clarets Mad message board but these talks were ended following the departure from Turf Moor of former Media boss Edoardo Abis.

The club have now gone ahead with this idea and the singing section will be in blocks NU2 and NU3 of the Longside Upper which are the second and third full blocks from the cricket field end of the stand.

Any supporters who currently sit in those two blocks of the stand but would now prefer to move away can do so, but they should contact the ticket office before 1st May. Supporters contacting the ticket office after this date will still be accommodated but must be aware that tickets by then will be on general sale and choice of seat could be more limited.

Supporters wishing to be part of the new singing section, an area that will be decked up with flags at the back of the stand, should purchase season tickets in blocks NU2 or NU3.

However, the club have stressed that fans must adhere to ground regulations and the law of the land and they will have no option but to enforce these rules. That means any persistent standing can lead to ejection from Turf Moor.
