Clarets start their pre-season planning

We’re off to Whaddon Road to take on Cheltenham and that’s no surprise because it is part of the transfer deal that brought Michael Duff to Turf Moor last season. It will be played on Saturday 16th July and it will be a special day for Steve Cotterill who is still a favourite with the Cheltenham fans.
As was the case last year it looks as though the Clarets will be playing matches in this country early before heading out for Austria again for the last week in July, there are no details as yet on that although we believe that the players will be training at the same complex in Obertraun as was the case in 2004.
But it all starts at Cheltenham on 16th July as we pay off another instalment in the Michael Duff transfer.
