Clarets or Wrexham for final

Graham Branch will lead the Clarets out against Wrexham for a place in the final
This evening Wrexham followed the Clarets in beating Blackpool in a game held at Ramsey. The only goal of the game came after 25 minutes from Lee Jones and this ensures that Blackpool will end their interest with a game on Friday afternoon in the 5th/6th place play off.

It’s over to Peel tomorrow though for our second game against Denis Smith’s Wrexham with the winners now certain qualifiers for the final and the losers playing in Friday evening’s 3rd/4th place play off.

Tomorrow’s game will see the Clarets play at Peel for the first time on their fifth visit to island. Although we have trained at Peel in each of the last four years the venue is new to the competition this year.
