Clarets on the Magic Lantern again

This and the all Premiership clash between Chelsea and Everton have been chosen by Sky the Stamford Bridge tie taking place on the Wednesday.

Manchester United will play at the Turf just two days after playing a Premiership game at Anfield against current league leaders Liverpool and four days before a home game against second place Arsenal.

For the Clarets it comes between a visit to Watford and a home game against Nottingham Forest.

It is all good news for the club though and another guaranteed £100,000 from Sky for the live coverage plus a crowd expected to be higher than that which saw us beat Spurs.

Ticket details are set to be announced later in the week and already there has been a lot of interest, so much so it would not be a surprise to see Turf Moor full with the 'Sold Out' signs posted.

It is a great reward for getting through against Spurs and just under 30% of you voted last week for a trip to Old Trafford. The money to be made will not be as high as it would have been had we been playing the tie there but nothing can beat a full Turf Moor.
