The game will kick off at 3:00 p.m. and comes just over a week after the Clarets return for pre-season training and is over a week earlier than our usual first matches that in recent years have been in the Isle of Man.
We can only hope that the weather is kinder this year, there was a drenching for most people last year after torrential rain throughout the second half continued well after the final whistle.
This is the second pre-season fixture confirmed for the Clarets alongside the home fixture against Everton. There is still no confirmation of the Dundee United game nor the expected trip to Austria where we are expected to play two further matches.
That trip is expected to come after the already arranged friendlies and it is expected the new look Burnley side will be away during week commencing 26th July.
