Clarets need a win to reach final

Hector Sam - scored again for Wrexham tonight
Tonight Wrexham have picked up their first points by beating Luton Town 3-2 and that leaves the whole thing open although it is Burnley who have it very much in their own hands.

Simply any sort of Burnley win sees us reach the final for the second successive year but a defeat would hand that place to either Luton or Wrexham. That would all depend on the scoreline, a defeat by two or more would see Luton in the final whilst a one goal defeat or a penalty defeat would hand the final place to Wrexham. Tomorrow we will know with the Clarets playing Luton at the NSC in Douglas.

Wrexham were still without a goalkeeper tonight with Andy Dibble missing through injury but they borrowed the second choice goalkeeper Dawson from the Isle of Man team.

Meanwhile in Group B the first game was played last night and that saw Darlington beat the Isle of Man 3-0. The other side in that group are Rochdale and they get underway tomorrow when they take on Darlington followed by their game against the island team on Wednesday.
