Ian Moore - gave us the lead
A place in the final on Saturday afternoon would have caused us some problems with the Leeds friendly on Sunday lunchtime but now we will end out stay on the Isle of Man with a 3rd/4th place play off match against either Rotherham or Rushden & Diamonds on Friday evening.

We were in front in the first minute tonight when Ian Moore, partnered up front by trialist Mickael Antoine-Curier, gave us the lead but that’s as good as it got for the Clarets.

By half time we were 3-1 down and eventually lost the match 4-1 and that means it will be Wrexham in the final again this year.

Our team showed some changes from Sunday with the two French trialists Fabrice Richard and Mickael Antoine- Curier getting starts as well as Dean West. Out were Clive Delaney, Matt O’Neill and Gareth Taylor although Taylor has picked up an injury.

We lined up: Brian Jensen, Lee Roche, Fabrice Richard, Graham Branch, Mo Camara, Glen Little, Paul Weller, Tony Grant, Dean West, Ian Moore, Mickael Antoine-Curier.

Stan made three substitutions introducing Arthur Gnohere, Robbie Blake and Matt O’Neill.
