Clarets Mad to join Walk up for Burnley

The campaign which will see supporters able to get into Turf Moor on £20 tickets for the next two home games is being supported by our two local newspapers the Burnley Express and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph with the two newspapers represented by Sport Editor Edward Lee (Express) and Clarets Reporter Darren Bentley (Telegraph) will be joining Dave in Rawtenstall for the walk.

Clarets Mad have been fully behind the campaign from the day it was unveiled and although unable to join the three of them for the full walk the web site will be involved for the last two miles.

This gesture is to highlight the need for more of our supporters to go to the Turf for matches and already over 1,000 seats have been taken up on the £20 family tickets for the next two games against Rotherham and Reading with local schoolchildren set to benefit from any kids tickets not required.

This is a positive step taken by the Club and as Dave Edmundson said: ""This Club is alive and it is going to start to fight back from some very difficult times. We are going to move this Club forward and recreate the heritage.

"I have to try and connect with the supporters, I want people to know that this Football Club is living and breathing but you have to come along with us to bring that success."

Walk up for Burnley:

Family ticket for two adults and two children, 50p off a match programme, £1 off catering (if £5 spent) and 10% reduction in the club shop on the day and all for £20.
