Clarets Mad editor Tony Scholes said, "I am aware there will be casualties at the Football Club but Andy Robinson and myself were insistent that there would be no deal without the whole team moving across.
"We are absolutely delighted to have been given this opportunity and we do believe that we can give Burnley Football Club one of the best of football web sites."
Chairman Barry Kilby is thrilled to have finally put a team together to run the club's site and said, "I cannot see how the venture can fail. These are committed Clarets who have all been involved in various web sites for some time and will bring to the club that much needed passion and know how.
"This is another great step forward for our club."
There was no one available from the Club's Media & PR team who will be the ones to suffer having lost the web site. They have not been involved in the negotiations and were completely in the dark although it is thought they became aware of the talks when Clarets Mad were first with the 2002/03 season ticket news earlier this week.
