Clarets Mad – Urgent News

Last updated : 26 July 2004 By Tony Scholes

The site has, from its inception, been hosted at Network 65 in Burnley but the host company, ESA Group Ltd., are no longer based there having moved to Leeds.

The sites have continued to be hosted there but are now set to be moved to an external hosting company with the work set to commence on Wednesday 28th July.

This means the site, and the message board, will be unavailable for up to 72 hours whilst the work is completed and you will be met by a holding page during this time when you try to access the site.

There is never a good time to do this but less than two weeks before the new season seems a highly inappropriate time but this is out of the hands of Clarets Mad.

We are going to Austria and did have in place the facility for reporting back on a daily basis regarding the tour (that is if we can find the grounds the matches are being played on). This will no longer be possible but match reports and reviews of the tour along with pictures will go on the site once we return.

We are sorry for this disruption which could have been much better timed earlier in the close season but there is nothing we can do about that and I’m sure the time will pass quickly.

The site and message board will still be available during the rest of today and all tomorrow but during Wednesday will disappear as the work to move the sites starts. It could well be less than 72 hours so please keep checking back.

To catch the news whilst we are way - check out the official site, they are currently in Austria with the squad.
