Kevin Long is a 19-year-old central defender who captained Cork City's successful FAI Youth Cup and Munster Cup teams during 2009 and soon after made his senior debut as a substitute against St. Patrick's Athletic before getting a start in a friendly against Ipswich in July.

He's made three competitive appearances for Cork, having made two starts since that debut as a substitute. It is believed he has already attracted the interest of Preston boss Alan Irvine whilst there is also interest from Charlton and Leeds with Leeds thought to have tabled a bid.

Enda Stevens is a left back with St Pats and made his debut for them against Cork having previously played for UCD and signed for St. Pats ahead of the 2009 season after being released.

The Dublin born Enda is also 19 and has had an outstanding first season at Richmond Park, making 38 first team appearances. He's now the established first choice left back and has also played in European competition after becoming one of Jeff Kenna's first signings.

He's had trials with four English clubs, namely Nottingham Forest, Hull, Stockport and Yeovil which clearly shows that he is a player in demand.
