Clarets in Richardson link

Eddie Lewis has gone today, he's joined the ex-Preston set at Derby as they prepare for relegation from the Premier League, and Jonathan Douglas is expected to be on his way soon, and of course there's been speculation that he might join us for a good number of weeks.

Now it is the turn of right back Richardson, a player who has spent his entire career with the Yorkshire club, although he twice had spells with Stoke on loan during the 2002/03 and 2003/04 seasons before making his debut for Leeds.

That Premiership debut came at Aston Villa in February 2004 when he came on as a substitute for Eirik Bakke in a 2-0 defeat, and he got his first start just before the end of the same season against Charlton.

It's no real surprise to see us linked with him, the whole world knows Steve Cotterill is looking for a right back and it does appear Richardson is probably available. He's played in both of their league games so far as they've marched on together to a grand total of minus nine points.
