Clarets in Camara link

This could be an excellent strategic move by Stan with Guinea international Camara being an international colleague and friend of Driss Diallo who is all set to start talks on a new Turf Moor deal in the next few days.

Camara has been with Wolves for almost three years having joined them from Le Havre for £50,000 after a successful trial in the summer of 2000. The defender started his career with French club Beauvais and has also played for Troye and Lille.

The Conackry, Guinea born player made his last first team appearance for Wolves in the play offs a year ago against Norwich City but this year has been confined to reserve team football as David Jones has played with Lee Naylor at left back.

He will be leaving Molineux and is hoping to continue his career in England. He is a player who has generally played well against the Clarets (which Wolves players don’t?) and could just be the sort of left-back Stan is looking for. And if it helps us keep Driss then all the better.
