Manchester United have followed Newcastle United in getting their third team into the Pontin’s Reserve League. Their regular reserve team plays in the Premiership Reserve League and play their matches at Altrincham.

But this third team are in the Pontin’s Holiday League West Division and currently lead it with a 100% record from four games. This side plays its home games at Ewen Field, the home of Hyde United and that’s where the Clarets are off tonight.

As always it is a relatively young side for the Clarets but it is strengthened by the inclusion of Amadou Sanokho who will line up in midfield alongside coach Mark Yates. Two of the other substitutes from Saturday, Brian Jensen and Matt O’Neill are also in the line up.

There’s no news of the Manchester United team as yet but the Clarets will line up:

Brian Jensen, Joel Pilkington, Neal Trotman, Chris McCann, Paul Scott, Marc Pugh, Mark Yates, Amadou Sanokho, Joe Booth, Matt O’Neill, Alex Taylor. Subs: Michael Hale, Martin Reilly, Nicky Platt, Tom Ince, Cayne Hanley.

The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and Clarets Mad will be there to cover the game.
