Clarets back in blue sleeves

Last updated : 25 April 2008 By Tony Scholes
It is back to a more traditional looking Burnley shirt in that we have made a return to blue sleeves for the first time since the 2003/04 season, and there is further blue on the shirt with a panel down the right hand side. The trim at the bottom of the shirt and sleeves is white.

Again it is a V neck but this time in claret, the same colour as the body of the shirt, and it is of the style on the current away shirt.

The sponsor's adverts, at the front and back of the shirt, remain the same as the current season's shirt in both terms of style and positioning. This new also shirt sees the return of the club's official badge on the front and it will carry the letters BFC in bold lettering on the back of the shirt on the neck band.

Manufactured for the fourth successive season by Errea it will be worn at home with predominantly white shorts and the white socks will have claret trim. News of the away kit is expected in June.
