Cheltenham is Sunday, Watford off

So are we on television? No is the answer but in a season where fixtures have been moved for all sorts of different reasons this one has had to be re-scheduled because of horse racing at Cheltenham on the Saturday.

Once again then there has been no regard whatsoever for travelling fans who must now make their way down to Cheltenham for a kick off two hours earlier and on the much less preferred day of Sunday – nobody gives a damn really.

I always thought it was a ridiculous state of affairs that we had allowed our league game at Watford to be brought forward to a Monday, just two days after FA Cup 4th round day. With the possibility of a tie for either club (although Watford are now out) being switched to the Sunday I never could quite see sense in it. Needless to say it was for television with Watford on the following Thursday.

The moving of the Cheltenham game has therefore forced the postponement of the Watford game and this is now in the β€˜to be arranged' bag with the Bradford City home game.
