Chelsea go five points clear

Last Updated : 09-Nov-2009 by
The top two prior to the weekend, Chelsea and Manchester United, met at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea winning it 1-0. That's allowed Arsenal to climb into second place ahead of United on goal difference.

Spurs, winners over Sunderland make up the top four whilst down at the bottom Hull have climbed out of the relegation places which are now occupied by West Ham, Wolves and Portsmouth.

Burnley remain in tenth place after the draw at Manchester City and now have two weeks to prepare for the home game against Aston Villa.

The results and stats from the weekend are below along with a list of leading scorers, each club's disciplinary record (and there were no less than 51 yellow cards this week) and the next set of fixtures.
