For those of you who, like myself, had intended picking tickets up for people out of town and had collected their vouchers you will now be unable to do this. This means that these people, who will not be in Burnley again until the Norwich game, will probably be faced with a chaotic situation at the ticket office on the last day for priority purchase.
The senior member of staff told those fans there that it was a failure by the club’s internet team to follow the instructions given to them yesterday that led to a lack of the full information being released.
Surely though if they had intended changing the policy for ticket sales then something should have been announced beforehand, probably after the Spurs match. And certainly they should also be explaining why the sudden change of policy.
But if you want your own seat for the Manchester United match you must take your full season ticket book with you.
