Chalobah signs in on loan

The Sierra Leone 19-year-old born Chalobah is still to play for Chelsea and still to play in the Premier League with all his first team action having come in those three loans, all in the Championship.

He had a successful season with Watford in 2012/13, making 38 league appearances and scoring five goals, one of which came in their 1-1 draw against the Clarets at Turf Moor.

A second season in the Championship followed with Forest and then Middlesbrough last season but Chelsea want to get him out on loan to a Premier League club now to further his development.

He can play as a defender or as a defensive midfielder and will certainly add to Dyche's options, and the last player we took on loan from Chelsea didn't do too badly. That was Jack Cork who enjoyed a season and a half with the Clarets from January 2010 to the end of the 2010/11 season.
