Carlisle makes league team

Clarke Carlisle - in team of the week after his performance at Bristol City

Carlisle was making his fifth league appearance for the Clarets since his £200,000 move from Watford. He's already turned in some good performances and for many Burnley fans who made the trip to Bristol, he was a good choice as man of the match even before his spectacular stoppage time goal that earned us a point.

He's settled well into the Burnley team alongside captain Steven Caldwell and this was perhaps his best all round performace for us since making his debut at Scunthorpe just a couple of days after completing his move to Turf Moor.
