Such was his domination of the man of the match vote that no other player reached double figures. He won it handsomely with 65.7% of the vote. That is the fourth biggest of the season behind Brian Jensen (Reading home), Robbie Blake (Spurs home) and Martin Paterson (Sheffield Wednesday away).
Blake came second this week with just 8.5% of the vote whilst 6.0% was enough to give Chris McCann third place.
It was the same in the player ratings. He scored a massive 9.22 out of 10 and was again a clear winner. Steven Caldwell, his partner in the centre of defence, was second with a rating of 8.39 whilst McCann was again third with a rating of 8.17 out of 10.
Carlisle scores six points whilst Blake, Caldwell and McCann all win two points towards the Player of the Year.
Blake is now a massive 21 points clear at the top of the table and with a maximum five games left is going to take some shifting. Chris McCann has edged above both Chris Eagles and Wade Elliott into fourth place. Caldwell remains seventh and Carlisle's recent run of form since returning to the side at Blackpool has seen him storm up to eighth place.
There are only five points between second and sixth, and they are the only players who could catch Robbie Blake. I suspect they might all now be playing for the runners up place in the Clarets Mad Player of the Year.
