Now Nigel Worthington has decided to take a look at Brisser as a possible replacement for Heckingbottom and is set to have talks with him this week. Worthington said, "Lee Briscoe is one of the names that's being considered He's one of the list of Bosman frees that we've been looking at."
Norwich were dealing with this quietly but sometimes other clubs don’t allow you to do this. Rotherham thought they had got Briscoe but after realising there were others chasing him they were happy to let everyone know that Norwich were also trying to sign him.
But Briscoe himself has found himself in demand and will at least have a choice to make with other clubs also seemingly keen to sign him.
