Campbell to make draw

Tonight the special guest is a figure well known to most people in the country as Tony Blair's former press secretary who went on to become the Labour Party's Director of Communications and Strategy.

He's Alastair Campbell, but to Burnley fans he's just another fan who is often sat with us at away games along with his son, supporting the Clarets and giving the opposition and referee plenty when things aren't going our way.

Better known than the rest of us, he's always gone out of his way to refer to us in his day job, and I do recall him, in his days as political editor of the Today newspaper, reporting from White Hart Lane on the Conservative conference in Blackpool the day after our League Cup tie there in 1993.

Tonight he gets that privileged opportunity of walking out onto the pitch to make the draw, a path trodden by so many former players over the years.
