Steven Caldwell
Steven Caldwell - wins five points
Pato, who scored that glorious first goal, won the man of the match whilst Caldwell took his good form from the first leg into the return to clinch the player ratings.

It was Paterson's 19th goal of the season and his performance pulled in 29.4% of the man of the match vote which was well in front of Caldwell who took second place with 18.2% of the vote. Graham Alexander finished third with 14.1%.

But it was Caldwell who had the highest player rating with 9.12 out of 10 to take first place. His central defensive partner Clarke Carlisle was in second place with a rating of 8.59 whilst Paterson came in third with a rating of 8.41 out of 10.

Caldwell picks up five points in the Player of the Year table with Paterson winning four points. Carlisle wins two points and Alexander one point.

It all means that Robbie Blake is the Clarets Mad Player of the Year for 2008/09 and Brian Jensen will finish in second place potentially alongside Paterson. But it is so close behind that top three with only three points separating the next five players with just the Wembley final to come.
