Tony Grant - hoping to be fit
Tony Grant missed out in midweek after feeling his hamstring at Barnsley and it is not certain that he will be fit to return for the Forest game although Stan has said he will give him as long as possible.

The injury problems are beginning to clear up, Steve Davis is back doing some training and Mitchell Thomas got another 90 minutes in at Oldham in the reserves on Wednesday. Robbie Blake also started the game and played for just over an hour to add to his run out at Rotherham the night before.

There does though seem to be still some doubt over Tony Grant and I suspect that he will miss out again tomorrow but maybe be fit for the Bradford game on Tuesday. If that is the case then I think the starting line up could be the same as it was at Rotherham on Tuesday which is,

Marlon Beresford, Dean West, Ian Cox, Arthur Gnohere, Lee Briscoe, Glen Little, Paul Weller, Kevin Ball, Alan Moore, Ian Moore, Gareth Taylor. The subs would probably also remain unchanged with Gordon Armstrong, Graham Branch, Paul Cook, Brad Maylett and Robbie Blake taking the five places.

Forest will definitely be without Tony Vaughan who misses the game with a suspension. They have been without defenders Eugen Bopp and Matthieu Louis-Jean through injury recently and although both are now back in training they are unlikely to be included in the squad.

In fact Paul Hart is expected to name an unchanged side too from the one that lost 2-1 at home to Millwall last Saturday lunchtime. That team was: Darren Ward, John Thompson, Jim Brennan, Jon-Olav Hjelde, Riccardo Scimeca, Gareth Williams, David Prutton, Nicky Summerbee (Brian Cash 66), Gary Jones (Jack Lester 66), Marlon Harewood, Andrew Reid. Subs not used: Barry Roche, Andy Gray, Kevin Dawson.

That starting eleven includes three 20 year-olds in John Thompson, Gareth Williams and David Prutton and a 19 year-old in Andrew Reid whilst the oldest is Nicky Summerbee at 30. There are two more 19 year olds and a 20 year old in the five subs.
