Burnley to sign McKee

McKee is listed as a forward on the Livingston site and is believed to be just 16 years of age. He's played two games in the first team. He made his debut on 1st August, coming on for Mark Torrance in their Scottish League Cup tie against Albion Rovers.

Two weeks later he made his league debut, this time coming on for Anthony McParland with six minutes to go.

On Friday the official Livingston site reported: "Exciting youngster Joe McKee has agreed a permanent move to high flying Premiership side Burnley. Joe spent a few days training with Burnley at the end of last season and left a very positive impression on Clarets manager Owen Coyle.

"He will leave to join a growing Scottish contingent at Turf Moor, in a deal that represents a fantastic opportunity for the player and good business for Livingston. The deal will include a friendly match visit to Almondvale for Joe and his new team mates.

"Everyone at the club wishes Joe well and will look forward to following his progress in England, where he joins former Livi youngsters James McPake, Graham Dorrans and Robert Snodgrass."
