All of those Premier League teams not involved in the two European competitions will join the competition in the second round along with Fulham and Norwich, two of last season's relegated clubs.
They will be joined by the winners from the first round which will mean a total of 25 ties with those winners joining the seven clubs in the European competitions in the third round.
This season we are coming in at the same round as Manchester United who are not involved in Europe.
We are also coming in after our local rivals Blackburn have already been knocked out; they were beaten last night by Scunthorpe at Ewood Park.
As in previous years the draw is seeded with Burnley in that top half of the draw. That means we will be drawn against one of the unseeded teams as shown below.
The draw will be made tonight at the conclusion of this evening's games.
