Burnley Cricket Club’s 19 year-old opening bowler James Anderson recently made his debut for Lancashire in the county championship and he has done well with his limited opportunities including the wicket of Mark Ramprakash first ball against Surrey.

Over the last three days though he has proved to be the star man as Lancs beat Hampshire convincingly in their away match and he had match figures of 9 wickets for just 50 runs including 6-23 in the first innings.

This is without doubt his best performance for the county and highlights the potential the young Clarets’ fan has.

Well done James from Clarets Mad.
