Along with Premier League rivals Stoke, Burnley have been linked today with a potential January transfer window loan move for Manchester City right winger Vladimir Weiss.

Weiss will reach his 20th birthday at the end of this month and is struggling to make an impact with the first team at City although has recently been capped at full level by Slovakia.

He made his debut for City at the end of last season, coming on as a substitute for Stephen Ireland in the last game of the season against Bolton but hasn't featured in the Premier League this season, his only club action coming in the Carling Cup.

The Bratislavan is considered a bright prospect at City and scored in their FA Youth Cup Final success in 2007/08 against Chelsea and manager Mark Hughes is thought to be keen to get him to another Premier League club to gain some experience.
