Burnley keen on Anderson

Anderson has just spent the last season on loan with the Swans and started almost half of their league games as they clinched the League One title. Manager Roberto Martinez is eager to keep him at the Liberty Stadium but with other clubs also wanting him.

The 19-year-old Anderson was expected to be sold by Liverpool this summer but it now appears that they would like him to go out for another season on loan before they make a decision on him.

He certainly impressed Burnley fans just over two years ago when he played on the right wing for the Liverpool youth team that won an exciting FA Youth Cup tie at Turf Moor. He'd just joined Liverpool at the time in a transfer to Hull that saw John Welsh go in the opposite direction.

Anderson netted seven league goals last season for Swansea in 31 appearances with 9 of those appearances from the subs bench.
