Burnley goes ‘Stan the Man' crazy

Burnley fans were queuing to be the first to get their hands on the book and with news that Stan is to give all the profits to the club’s Gawthorpe Fund then even more were being bought as presents.

Tonight Stan and co-author Tony Livesey were at the club shop autographing copies of the book. The two of them were hoping to be given the opportunity to sign a good number as sales were boosted but they could not have expected the numbers that did turn up.

At around 6:45 p.m. Clarets’ fans were streaming out having bought their books and got them signed whilst others waited patiently. So many had turned up the queues were stretching from the shop almost to the main entrance of the Bob Lord Stand and it looked as though it was going to be a long signing session for Ternent and Livesey.

For any of you who haven’t got the book yet it can be bought from either of the club shops, the one at Turf Moor and also at Turf Moor in Town or from the club’s online shop Clarets Direct priced at £16.99.
