Friendly result: FC Stade Nyonnais 1 v Burnley 3.

The Clarets cruised to an easy victory in their first pre-season game to finish off what has been by all accounts a really worthwhile training trip.

The squad decided to cross Lake Geneva from Evian by boat to meet up with Swiss part-timers, FC Stade Nyonnais in Nyon.

Sean Dyche promised his players they would all get a game. For the travelling Burnley players this really was a game of two halves!

By by half time the part-timers trailed in Burnley’s wake through goals from Andre Gray, Ashley Barnes and Michael Keane.

The home side pulled a goal back before the half time whistle but the game finished with the Clarets very much in the ascendency.

The Clarets report no injuries and the good news for Clarets fans is that the Juke is back in action and raring to go! (TEC).
