Branch earns Clarets a draw

Burnley led 1-0 at half time after Graham Branch had given us the lead and he then missed a golden chance to make it two.

The Germans, aided by a dreadful and biased referee, who we nicknamed Herr Kevin Lynch, came back in the second half to earn a draw with a well taken goal.

A full report will appear on Clarets Mad on our return from our Austrian adventure.

The Burnley team was (4-5-1): Danny Coyne (Brian Jensen 45), Michael Duff, Frank Sinclair, John McGreal, Mo Camara, Lee Roche, Richard Chaplow, Tony Grant (captain), Micah Hyde, Matt O'Neill, Graham Branch. Sub not used: Mark Yates.

Robbie Blake, Ian Moore, Joel Pilkington and Paul Scott were all unavailable through injury.
