Bradford's Robbie Blake in talks

A fee has been agreed with Bradford City and this is for £1 million with an extra £250,000 should the Clarets win promotion to the Premiership. He is now in talks with Burnley although it is expected that these talks continue for 48 hours.

Apparently Blake has spoken with both chairman and manager at Bradford City and told them that he wanted to move to Turf Moor and so they have now reluctantly allowed this although they have admitted that they have turned down a number of offers from Burnley before the latest one was accepted.

There is no news as yet from Turf Moor although we shouldn't expect any until the deal, if it goes through, is completed. Recently Bradford City did say that Blake would be out injured for three weeks and if that is the case then he wouldn't be fit for Saturday and there wouldn't be any need to rush things.

Blake will not be able to play in the FA Cup tie at Cheltenham having already played 34 minutes in the competition for Bradford City in the 3rd round at Walsall.

There will be more news on Blake if and when he signs.
