Bob Peeters in action for Vitesse Arnhem against Ajax
There, in De Gelderlanger, it is being reported that Clarets representatives will be in the Netherlands this coming weekend to watching Peeters in action for Vitesse Arnhem against local rivals NEC Nijmegen. The Dutch League is just returning from a break and this weekend sees the first games.

They also claim that Burnley have tried to get Peeters over on a trial although this request has been turned down with the local derby coming up although it did say they could be willing to release him for a few days next week.

However Peeters himself has put the block on that and is concerned about coming over on trial and the possibility of getting injured. Having said that he is very keen to make sure of a place in the Belgian squad for the World Cup in the summer and as such needs to find himself some regular first team football.

He is not getting that currently at Vitesse Arnhem where he has scored just one goal all season and a temporary move to Burnley could just provide him with that opportunity.
