Robbie Blake
Robbie has been in sparkling form recently, and it is difficult now to imagine that it is only just over three weeks ago that he was left out of the side for the game at Preston. Since then he's turned in a number of top performances and again he shone in the latest cup success.

He won the man of the match vote by some considerable distance, polling 61.3% of the vote. In second place was two goal hero Steven Thompson with 19.6% and Wade Elliott, scorer of the opener, came third with 7.1% of the vote.

We had the same top two in the player ratings. Robbie was again the convincing winner with a rating of 8.95 out of 10. Thompson's rating was 8.48 and it was Michael Duff, playing in the centre of defence, who came third with a rating of 7.71 out of 10.

Robbie gets six points towards the player of the year, Thompson wins four points and there's one point each for Duff and Elliott.

Those points are taking Robbie ever closer to the top of the table. He's climbed above both Brian Jensen and Chris McCann into joint second place alongside Chris Eagles. The two of them are nine points behind leader Martin Paterson.
