Blackwell goes at Leeds

We weren't too far out and today, firstly Waddock, and now Blackwell, have been shunted out by their respective clubs although as we reported just a couple of hours ago Waddock is remaining at Loftus Road to work.

Blackwell: Now he's either embarrassingly bad or he's the best manager since sliced bread, but it all depends on who you listen to. Most people put him in the first category but it is Blackwell himself who has repeatedly told us how good a job he has done.

It is difficult to see, despite having the likes of Blake, Cresswell, Healy and Hulse at his disposal last season he still couldn't lift them to a top two place, and this season his team selections have been treated with some disbelief as the non scoring Ian Moore, yes I do know he got two against a League Two team last night, was played at the expense of Robbie Blake and he has taken them into the bottom two in the league, their lowest placing in 21 years.

The fans have made it clear they have had enough of him, from recent reports some of the players have too, and now so have the board only last week publicly backed via former player Peter Lorimer.

Already Alan Curbishley and former England managers Glenn Hoddle and Kevin Keegan have been linked with the Elland Road post.
