Bikey going to World Cup as Fletcher wins cap

Seventh Scotland cap for Fletcher
Bikey didn't figure in today's game, he didn't even make the bench, but he still looks to be in with a good chance of winning a place in the Cameroon squad for the World Cup after goals from Samuel Eto'o and Achille Webo.

Down in Cardiff the new Cardiff City Stadium staged its first international and it was something of a disaster day for the Scots. The two Burnley players in the squad, Stevens Caldwell and Fletcher, must have been relieved to have been on the bench in the first half as the Welsh took a three goal lead with goals from David Edwards, Simon Church and Aaron Ramsey.

There were no further goals in the second half and although Caldwell didn't get on striker Fletcher came on for Kenny Miller ten minutes into the second half. It was a seventh cap for Fletcher and his third since joining the Clarets.

There was better news for one of the Turf Moor Scots. Kevin McDonald played the full game as the Scotland Under-21 side won 4-0 in Azerbaijan. Brian Easton was in the squad but didn't take any part in the game.
