Bikey gets top billing in Chelsea game

Andre Bikey
Bikey, in for the injured Graham Alexander, took both the man of the match vote and the player ratings by some distance, and this despite him being at fault with the first Chelsea goal.

He polled 51.8% in the man of the match poll whilst behind him in second and third place were the two central defenders. Debutant Leon Cort took second place with 13.4% and Clarke Carlisle was third with 11.8% of the vote.

It was Bikey again with the player ratings on the message board. All round the ratings were considerably higher than they'd been for the previous game at Bolton and Bikey was a comfortable winner again with a rating of 8.40 out of 10.

Carlisle was second this time; his rating was 7.67. Steven Fletcher, the Burnley goalscorer, took third place with a rating of 7.48 out of 10.

Bikey therefore wins the maximum six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Carlisle picks up three points, there are a first two points for Cort and Fletcher gets one.

The only significant change in the Player of the Year Table is Bikey's climb back up to third place with his third maximum of the season (the other two coming in the home games against Everton and Bolton). Fletcher's point takes closes the gap slightly between him and leader Chris Eagles.
