Bikey at the double

Andre Bikey
Bikey had won points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year on his debut against Manchester United, but second time out came top of both the man of the match vote and the player ratings on the message board.

He polled 37.0% of the vote for the man of the match, leaving him well in front of midfielder Chris McCann who was second with 22.5%. Third was goalscorer Wade Elliott who claimed 8.3% of the vote.

In the player ratings it was very close between the two central defenders but it was Bikey in first place again. He had a rating of 8.69 out of 10 and that was just ahead of the 8.59 rating for Clarke Carlisle. McCann, second in the man of the match, took third place with a rating of 8.45 out of 10.

Bikey wins six points towards the player of the year, McCann gets three. Carlisle takes two points and Elliott one.

Voting is now underway for the man of the match at Hartlepool and as always is on the front page of the site. This vote will continue until the end of Saturday with the Chelsea vote starting first thing on Sunday morning.
