Bikey at the back and starring

Andre Bikey
And such was his performance that he was the winner of both the man of the match vote and the player ratings.

He and Michael Duff defended superbly against the uncompromising approach from Bolton and it was Bikey who won the man of the match with 29.0% of the vote. That was well ahead of David Nugent, scorer of our goal, who came second with 19.0%. Midfielder Kevin McDonald took third place with 17.3% of the vote.

Bikey was again the winner in the player ratings. His rating of 8.08 out of 10 left him again as the clear winner. Chris Eagles took second place with a rating of 7.66 whilst a rating of 7.42 was enough to give Nugent third place.

Bikey therefore wins the maximum six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Nugent gets three points, Eagles two and McDonald one point.

The points have made little difference to the Player of the Year Table although Bikey now moves within one point of third place Tyrone Mears and Eagles gets within two points of Steven Fletcher who remains at the top.
