Big squad for Stan

Lee Roche - expected to replace Dean West
The midweek reserve team win against Sheffield Wednesday gave some of those not involved at Bradford the chance for some action and players such as Lee Roche, Mark McGregor, Luke Chadwick and new signing Lenny Johnrose got in a full ninety minutes.

Roche is the one of them most likely to come in to the side today. He didn’t even make the bench last week but should come straight back in to the team at the expense of Dean West. Fred is nursing a slight groin strain but Roche was expected to replace him in any case.

Dele Adebola’s debut at Bradford brought him an injury after just two minutes, a stomach strain. However, the new striker is back in training and fit today where he is again set to take a seat on the bench.

Joel Pilkington also came through the reserve game on Tuesday following illness although he is not expected to make the squad.

I would suspect that Roche for West is probably the only change Stan will make and we will line up:

Brian Jensen, Lee Roche, David May, Graham Branch, Mo Camara, Glen Little, Richard Chaplow, Tony Grant, Neil Wood, Robbie Blake, Ian Moore. Sub: Nathan Abbey, Mark McGregor, Paul Weller, Luke Chadwick, Dele Adebola.

Whilst Chappy returned from his England Under-19 debut in Germany our visitors Norwich have had five players away on international duty this week. Phil Mulryne, Robert Green, Ian Henderson, Ryan Jarvis and Jim Brennan have all returned fit and so Paul McVeigh is the only injury doubt after bruising a toe in last week’s win over Stoke.

Norwich are expecting a tough game at the Turf and their assistant manager Doug Livermore said ahead of the game, "It has never been an easy game at Turf Moor, I have been involved with a few clubs that have gone there and it’s always been a tough game.

"Stan Ternent, Sam Ellis and Mick Docherty are all great lads and I have got great respect for them and their team and know they will put on a tough battle this weekend.

"I think financially they have had a few problems this season. They have had to sell a lot of players to get them off the wage bill and I think Stan has done very well with a lot of loan players he has brought in and has done a great job for the club."

Should McVeigh, as expected, pass his fitness test then Norwich will be unchanged from last week and will line up:

Robert Green, Marc Edworthy, Malky Mackay, Craig Fleming, Adam Drury, Paul McVeigh, Gary Holt, Simon Francis, Darren Huckerby, Leon McKenzie, Mathias Svensson. Subs not used: Paul Crichton, Jim Brennan, Phil Mulryne, Kevin Cooper, Iwan Roberts.
