Big away win sees United close gap

Last updated : 06 December 2009 By Tony Scholes
City moved back into the top six after ending a run of seven successive league draws by coming from behind to beat Chelsea. They have still only been beaten once.

Down at the bottom, two of the clubs in the relegation positions won. Wolves beat fellow strugglers Bolton in the battle of the Wanderers whilst bottom club Portsmouth's win over the Clarets has seen us drop to thirteenth. Those three clubs remain in the bottom three.

The weekend stats are below along with the leading goalscorers, each club's disciplinary record and the next fixtures.
