Bes goes out on loan

Bes Berisha
The club he is joining are based in Trondheim and play in the Norwegian Premier League and have a fantastic recent history. Up to and including 2004 then won the title in thirteen consecutive seasons.

They ended last season in fifth place and Bes will now join them on loan until January to get himself some match action which is unlikely to be the case at Burnley with manager Owen Coyle only recently saying that he was still some way short.

It's been a difficult time for him since joining the Clarets in the summer of 2007. He sustained a serious cruciate ligament injury playing for Albania that ruled him out for the entire season and he's only just got back to fitness. His only action for the Clarets has been in pre-season games, his injury came before he'd even had a reserve game for us.

He arrived in a blaze of publicity and the fans have certainly seen his talent recently, none more so than his goal at Accrington.

Hopefully he'll be ready to make that long awaited debut when he returns at the end of this loan.

Manager Owen Coyle said: "He has been out for a year and is not quite ready to start in our team just now, but if he goes there he will hopefully come back on 1st January as a new player and ready to play a part for Burnley Football Club.

"Bes desperately needs games and this serves a purpose because with all due respect to the reserve league that will not allow him to get back to the level he was at before.

"As I said, he's been out for a year exactly and this gives him the opportunity to play at a good level by playing week in, week out and hopefully we will get a better player as a result."
