Signed in the summer of 2007 he suffered a cruciate ligament injury early in his Burnley career whilst on international duty with Albania. By the time he was fit again we'd changed manager and soon found out he wasn't part of Owen Coyle's plans.

He featured in the pre-season a year ago but wasn't given any starts, that leading to a season that featured two loan moves, firstly to Norwegian club Rosenborg and then to AC Horsens in Denmark.

Now, after a successful trial, he's returned to Germany with Arminia Bielefeld who have just been relegated to the Bundesliga. He's signed a three year deal with them and it is believed the transfer fee is around £75,000.
