They have already exceeded all their expectations and have now received £1,200 in sponsorship which includes almost £300 collected in the Foundation Bar last Saturday before the Gillingham game.
Ben told us: "The interest has been great and people going out of their way to help. We are delighted with the backing we have received from everyone, we have been inundated with pledges and offers for help.
"We are currently walking in and out of campus whilst getting all our walking essentials together."
To add to that we have now filled a second shirt in the Club’s ‘500 Mile Club’ which means another £2,000 and we have already got more towards a third place on the shirt.
A Club spokesman told us: "I think it's great that Clarets Mad have raised all that money so far and I would like to tell everyone thanks on behalf of the Club."
