Brian Jensen
The Clarets struggled all afternoon but Jensen made a number of good saves. The first goal he conceded was a penalty and he had no chance with the second late in the game when Jason Scotland hammered in his second from close range.

Jensen's performance won him the man of the match, and he polled 25.1% of the vote to take that first place. Midfielder Chris McCann came second with 17.7% and striker Martin Paterson was in third place with 14.6% of the vote, just ahead of Stephen Jordan.

In the player ratings Jensen won it by some distance with a rating of 7.18 out of 10. Trailing some distance behind to take the next two places were the two full backs. Jordan was second with a rating of 6.30 and Graham Alexander came third with a rating of 6.15.

Jensen therefore wins six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Season. Both McCann and Jordan earn themselves two points whilst there's a point apiece for Alexander and Paterson.

Those points have taken Jensen clear into fourth place and both Jordan and Alexander have moved up a place in the table.

The voting is currently underway for our FA Cup replay against QPR. The voting poll is on the front page of the site and continues until midnight on Friday.
