Beast Leeds the way

The Beast had his best game since coming back into the side at Leicester a few weeks ago. He kept the score down with a number of saves and it cannot come as a surprise to anyone that he's walked away with the man of the match and the player ratings.

'Walked away' is exactly the right phrase. In the man of the match he polled no less than 78.9% of the vote to take first place. Such was his dominance that Jack Cork, who was second, polled just 6.2% and Danny Fox, with 4.0% of the vote, took third place.

The gap between Jensen and the rest was equally evident in the player ratings. No other player reached the average rating of 6 whilst Jensen won it with a rating of 8.38 out of 10. The two full backs followed him. Fox was second with a rating of 5.81 with Mears in third place; his rating was 5.50 out of 10.

That gives Jensen the maximum 6 points towards the Player of the Year. Fox wins three points, Cork two points and Mears one point.

The last man of the match vote will get underway shortly after the end of the game tomorrow against Cardiff City.
