Beast adds Crawley to list

A winning debut for Brian Jensen

Crawley travelled to Barnsley yesterday, the scene of Jensen's last appearance for the Clarets, other than that late substitution in the last game of the 2012/13 season against Ipswich.

It proved to be something of a nightmare for him as he gave away the late goal that saw us knocked out of the FA Cup to the Tykes. Yesterday was totally different as his Crawley team won 1-0 with reports suggesting that he kept them in the game at times in earning himself a clean sheet.

Jensen has become the first ever player to play for both Burnley and Crawley which has seen them added to the feature.

The same game saw Keith Treacy make his Barnsley debut as a substitute and there were also substitute debuts for Luke Chadwick for Cambridge, not his first game, but his league debut for them, and Junior Stanislas who was introduced in stoppage time as Bournemouth won 4-0 at Huddersfield.

Kyle Lafferty also made a substitute debut. He was introduced in the closing stages as Norwich went down 1-0 at Wolves today in what was his first English league game since leaving Burnley over six years ago.

David Edgar made his Birmingham debut in midfield, Andre Bikey played for Charlton, whilst Josh McQuoid started for Coventry at the beginning of his season long loan.

All eight have been added to the Played for Both feature which can be found in the Players drop down menu. The feature lists all the players, club by club, who have played for us and that respective club.

There will be another update in just over a week should any of our new signings make debuts against Chelsea.
