Bantams fans to travel free

Bradford City Football Club have announced that any supporters who travelled to Burnley last night on the official coaches will be provided with free transport when the game is eventually played.

It is unfortunate for those who travelled by car and that will be the majority but at least it is a start with some of them having the extra cost taken away from them. Presumably it is coming out of the £40,000 per week they are not paying Benito Carbone just at present.

They are certainly not setting a precedent here and only last season Norwich City fans were provided with free travel to Turf Moor for the re-arranged game with the Clarets.

Should the game go ahead on a Tuesday, as expected, there are four possible dates that it can be played taking into account both Burnley's and Bradford City's fixtures. In March there are the 19th and 26th and in April the 9th and 16th.
